Concert violinist

SergeiMkrtichian

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Dear
friends,

I’ve created this site so you can find out more about me, what I’ve done in the past, and what I’m up to currently.

I look forward to connecting with you at my concerts.

— Sergei Mkrtichian

My story and background

I’m a concert violinist, and my playing brings together virtuosity, clarity and emotional directness. My musical path has taken me to the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana with Pavel Berman and Accademia Stauffer with Salvatore Accardo, following my studies at the Academic Music College of the Moscow State Conservatory and guidance from Suren Haknazarian.

I’ve been fortunate to perform in major halls across Europe, including the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the State Kremlin Palace, Villa Bernasconi in Como and the Concert House in Vienna.
